Gergo Szabo is a digital video expert, a business owner and an advisor in strategy, business development and MA in the social and streaming video space.

Gergo is also an athlete for life, a water polo player, a marathon runner, snowboarder and overall sports enthusiast with a love for sports media projects.

The Team Play is where his passion and professional experience meets.

Gergo has over 15 years of experience across broadcast and digital media, sports and tech. He has been working for premier entertainment companies HBO, The Walt Disney Company and Sony Pictures Entertainment from London to Budapest in EMEA roles.
Gergo also consulted Rakuten TV across various EMEA markets. He also co-founded and built Special Effects Media, a leading social video company, producing social video, building audiences and managing creators across YouTube, Twitch and Instagram, a YouTube Certified and TikTok Official Partner company, with operations in Budapest, Hungary and Cape Town, South Africa.
